Timeless Treasures started in November, 17 1993 by ME~Dawn Steckmesser. My hubby and I collected vintage clothing and accessories for a long time. The collection got so big and out of hand, that I realized it was time to follow my dream and open a vintage clothing store. So I quite my Full-Time job as an LPN and the rest is history. My shop is quite large, it is 3 connecting store fronts. We carry Womens/Mens/Childrens vintage clothing and accessories. We also have Cottage Chic decor, old magazines, Jewelry,Hankies, you name and we probably have it. We also sell vintage to Hollywood for TV and Movies. Such as: TITANIC/ MONA LISA SMILE/ SEABISCUIT/ THAT 70s SHOW/ HBOs CARNIVALE/ PUBLIC ENEMIES to name a few. We love what we do and I think it shows. We are collectors first, preservationists second and dealers third. I take vintage very seriously, clothing is part of our past our history. It can tell us alot about our ancestors and ourselves by the styleing of the clothing. I love to connect with others that share this passion. I also sell on Ebay under the store name: Slapsymaxi2's Vintage Speakeasy. Things I love to collect are: Mannequin Heads used for displaying hats years ago, Lady Head Vases, Flapper items, Funky Poodle stuff. We go to Mackinac Island every year in October and stay at the Grand Hotel for the Somewhere In Time weekend. It is great fun to dress up in period clothing and leave the PRESENT behind, even for a few days. If you are ever in Manitowoc stop in at the shop and say: HI!
